Bubbles, tulips & playdough {Spring}

I've been neglecting the blog for awhile now and decided it was due for an update.
I have a heaps of new images to show and hope to do more postings in the weeks to comes, just need to find the time. I also realized it's been just over a year since i've had the blog now and i haven't posted as much as i had planned to so my goal this year is to post more often. Wish me luck!

This is actually more of a personal post, i don't do these very often but it's been awhile since i've showed off my beauty 'lil niece. She's already 20 months! Almost a little girl really, who is going to be a big sister in the fall. Actually both my sisters are pregnant and 3 weeks apart, very exciting news for our family!

I expect to very busy with my camera in the fall taking pics of the new arrivals and can't wait for it. Going to try my very best to take tons of pics of the two new ones and capture them as they grow once they arrive. However i will always be Alexandra's very own personal photographer :)

{The Cations}

Happy Wednesday to you!

...and here comes the glorious week-end. As much as i'm incredibly behind on my proofing, my computer and i will be taking a break from our love affair this Saturday night. I'm in desperate need of a break, seriously. There are only so many nights a single girl can spend cooped up inside working; i think i'm slowly going mad!
I also have an engagement session this Saturday that i'm majorly excited for, here's hoping it doesn't rain!

A couple week-ends ago, actually the same day i had my session with Krystle & Evan, i spent the morning with the Cations.
What a great little unit they are. They were an absolute joy to shoot, Jack with his big 'cheese' smile and Harris doing his own thing not really wanting to be a part of the session... Until ice cream was involved of course.

I just love that they all fit in this tree trunk... a random hollow trunk on the caledon trail.

Lisa and Mark decided they needed a break and had the boys pull them.

Harris going to town on his cone...

So focused...

Finally getting some smiles out of Harris. Bribery... works every time.

How fun are they! Tickle fight anyone?

I just love this one...

The Drysdales

I'm loving this rainy day Friday. I feel like i need a couple days of rain to really get some work done indoors. It's been so hard to spend hours in front of the computer screen editing while the sun is beaming outside.

A couple weeks ago when the heat was absolutely unbearable (i swear it was the hottest day yet this summer) i spent the afternoon snapping some shots of the Drysdale family. Despite running after the two cuties while sweating buckets, i had a great time. I'm really surprised they lasted that long outdoors, it was literally a thick wall of steaming hot humidity!

I have to say i've never seen such fabulous curls on a little girl, Jada's curls are just wild!

Peek - a - boo

Such a lil man Logan is.

Big Browns eyes.

Jada with her big "CHEESE" smile.
