Beautiful Thornbury {Minns Family}

Happy Halloween!

What a week! So happy the wkd is here... which means i can catch up on my editing once again. I also have so much to post up on the blog still, just need to find the time.
Tomorrow i have a session which will no doubt be postponed to Sunday, thanks to the rain that they are announcing. At least it's the first time i've had to postpone this season. It's really been a gorgy fall! Let's hope for a sunny winter with minimal snow k? k.

On Thanksgiving wkd i had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with the Minns family up at their cottage in Beautiful Thorbury. We went for a long walk on the trail near their home and had plenty of beauty fall photo ops. Absolutely love the colours, just can't get enough.

Here are a few shots from our hike...

Corn Fields & Jelly beans {Brooklynn & Kyla}

It's Friday!

FINALLY. I feel like this has been 'the never-ending week'. I'm so incredibly exhausted! It's pretty sad how excited i am to sleep... and for my e-session and night out away from my Mac!

A couple weeks ago i met up with Jen and her two girls Brooklyn & Kyla. I photographed them almost exactly a year ago and it's so crazy to see how much they've grown. I absolutely adore these two, they are just so precious! Such fabulous little ladies they are.
I went over to drop off the pictures yesterday and as i was chatting with Jen, Kyla was trying to get in my car to leave with me and Brooklynn just didn't want me to go, what cuties!

We started out our session at Albion apple orchard.

Kyla and her basket of apples. Doesn't she look like a little lady with her adorable fall coat and boots?

Her big blues

Just hangin' out in the wagon.

Frolicking in the corn field together...

Another set of big blues

Brooklynn and Hailey.

Jen and her 3 girls...

My way of getting their attention...

Kissy faces with mouths full of candy...

Kyla kept starring at the jars and slowing inching towards them...

Sister giggles...

{The Cations}

Happy Wednesday to you!

...and here comes the glorious week-end. As much as i'm incredibly behind on my proofing, my computer and i will be taking a break from our love affair this Saturday night. I'm in desperate need of a break, seriously. There are only so many nights a single girl can spend cooped up inside working; i think i'm slowly going mad!
I also have an engagement session this Saturday that i'm majorly excited for, here's hoping it doesn't rain!

A couple week-ends ago, actually the same day i had my session with Krystle & Evan, i spent the morning with the Cations.
What a great little unit they are. They were an absolute joy to shoot, Jack with his big 'cheese' smile and Harris doing his own thing not really wanting to be a part of the session... Until ice cream was involved of course.

I just love that they all fit in this tree trunk... a random hollow trunk on the caledon trail.

Lisa and Mark decided they needed a break and had the boys pull them.

Harris going to town on his cone...

So focused...

Finally getting some smiles out of Harris. Bribery... works every time.

How fun are they! Tickle fight anyone?

I just love this one...
